We are happy to announce that the Registration and Abstract submission for BIODIV Annual Meeting 2026 are open! 

We remind you that the meeting will take place in Centro Municipal da Juventude, Vila do Conde, Portugal, on May 4th-6th, 2026 and our theme will be " One Health – From Genes to Ecosystems". We highly encourage you to register and attend the Meeting. This is a great opportunity for students from Lisbon and Porto to present and discuss their work, while fostering connections between all BIODIV students!

For students travelling from Lisbon (FCUL), collective transport to Porto and accommodation for the 3 nights will be covered by the BIODIV program. For all students, lunches will also be covered during the meeting, as well as an incredible social dinner on May 5th. 

We are eager to hear all about your research, so please don’t forget to submit an abstract. This year, the presentations will be in three formats: 

· Full talk (10 minutes + 5 minutes for Q&A)

· Flash talk ( 3 minutes + 2 minutes for Q&A)

· Poster (poster session)

All abstracts will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee. Due to the limited number of slots for oral communications, some students might be invited to present a poster instead. All communications should be in English.

Registration will be open until March 20th and abstract submission will be open until March 27th. Please register before submitting an abstract.
